이전 버전의 Windows에서 사용했던 많은 폴더가 이 버전에서 이름이 바뀌었거나 새 위치로 이동되었습니다. 이러한 폴더는 기본적으로 숨겨져 있지만 숨김 파일 및 폴더를 표시하면 볼 수 있습니다. 이러한 폴더는 열거나, 이동하거나, 삭제할 수 없으며 새 위치를 가리키는 포인터로만 사용됩니다. Windows Vista에서는 폴더의 내용을 새 위치로 넣었습니다. 다음 표에서는 많이 사용하는 폴더의 이전 위치와 새 위치를 나열합니다.
